KL Sentral Facilities

[ What is available at KL Sentral ]

More Information = Better Planning

Most of the time when i visit other country, i prefer to look for the information counter or the tourist centre to get the information i need. The last thing i will do if i cannot find it, is to ask the local !!
It is just a natural thing to do as a tourist, right? If only i could get the info beforehand, i can plan my trip better and spend more time for sight-seeing instead of searching !!! Well.. not everything is "google-able".

Below is the facilities available at KL Sentral...

From KLIA to Hotel via KL Sentral

So your flight just touched down at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) ...

and you want to find your hotel using the train...

you bought the train ticket at the airport, travel via KLIA express and now you find yourself at KL Sentral station.
What next ?? Here is the walk-through for you. I assume you already know which station you're heading to (your hotel itinerary should provide some information, right??).
KL Sentral is quite big, it has 4 levels in total. You will arrive at level 1 (all train systems, including KTM Komuter, LRT, Monorail, KLIA express and KLIA Transit are located here in the 1st floor, except the intercity-state which is at level 2).

Getting To Know Train System

In Malaysia, the biggest train station is "KL Sentral" . Its like King's Cross in the United Kingdom underground. KL Sentral has everything, from KL (Kuala Lumpur) city train network, express train to the airport, taxi station, bus to the airport and intercity train to other states of malaysia.
Lets just discuss the train system within KL city here, which are the KTM Komuter, Rapid LRT, Monorail, Express KLIA & KLIA Transit.
This is very important especially for tourist, the more information you can get before arriving in Malaysia, the better it is for you.
